This traveling exhibition, organized by the Brooklyn Museum, features approximately 200 photographs from celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz. The show encompasses both the photographer's personal and professional work, including family photographs and portraits of public figures such as Nelson Mandela, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson and George W. Bush. Leibovitz has been creating witty and powerful images of American pop culture since the early 1970s when she became Rolling Stone's chief photographer. She later went on to work for Vanity Fair and Vogue and also created a number of influential advertising campaigns for American Express, Gap, and the Milk Board, among others.

The Southeast as a region has been hard hit by economic dislocations stemming from globalization and free trade. This event will give Southeastern company management teams a chance to hear from CEOs from companies around the country that have implemented strategies for surviving and thriving in an increasingly global marketplace, while creating great places to work for both entry-level and white collar employees. These strategies are critical if the Southeast is to retain its reputation as a region of the country with a vibrant economy.
