The internationally renowned singer and ney (reed flute) player Hossein Omuomi returns to Town Hall with an ensemble of five master musicians for an all new program featuring musical expressions of the poetry of Rumi and other important poets, including contemporary works, as well as celebratory performance of popular music from the repertoire of classical Persian music. Appearing with Omoumi will be four noted artists -- percussionist Mehrdad Arabi, string players Amir Koushkani and Kourosh Taghavi, and Jessika Kenney, a former student of Omoumi who is gaining increased recognition for her Persian vocals.

Currently based in Spokane, Kaylee Cole's musical journey began, rather surprisingly, just 12 short months ago. It was at this time last year that she set out to re-teach herself to play the piano she learned in her youth. Within weeks she was writing her own songs and lyrics, and followed in April with her first live show at Spokane's Empyrean and the beginning of her career as a performer.
