This is the monthly meeting of the Milwaukee, WI Flickr photography group CreamCity: Milwaukee. This is an event were people who enjoy photography, Milwaukee, and getting together with other like minded people. We share, learn, experiment, explore, and generally have a good time. The only requirements are to have a camera (film, digital, SLR, DSLR, point and shoot, phone, disposable, new, used, etc), a good pair of shoes for walking, and come have a good time! Also, remember to dress for the weather! Things are planned for meeting at Marquette University, and photographing some of the buildings and structures there. We have been granted some inside access from Scott Feldstein, photographer and Marquette instructor. The final forum thread is here, but the planning thread listed below has more detailed information on the campus, where we will/might be going, and post walk details as well.

RadioMilwaukee Welcomes Two Loons for Tea

Where: Shank Hall

RadioMilwaukee welcomes Two Loons for Tea to Shank Hall on Wednesday, March 26th @ 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Here’s what reviewers are saying about Two Loons...Seattle's Two Loons For Tea are like some mad Nashville duo lost on planet chill, or perhaps they're Victorian dancehall entertainers forecasting a successful Vaudeville career for their as yet unborn but talented children. Two Loons Jonathan Kochmer and Sarah Scott are very much the local boho couple warping jazz standards for downtown hipsters but their reach is decidedly global. Scott sings with a sassy impertinence that recalls dark heroines from Dinah Washington and Rickie Lee Jones to Beth Gibbons, while Kochmer's stylized arrangements recall Zero 7, Air and a touch of Massive Attack. It's vibrant cocktail electronica for the 7pm set, feelgood music for the modern urban sophisticate.
