Three Philadelphia area semi-finalists’ sandwiches will be judged by the Philadelphia Fire Department Fitness Trainer, Richard Davison, and Nutritionist, Christine Palumbo. Carbon/Silicon features punk veterans Mick Jones (The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite) and Tony James (Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik). The project started several years ago when Jones and James began recording music and putting it out via their Web site on a monthly basis. The digital-only EPs and albums became popular enough that by 2004, the partnership grew to a full band. The lineup was settled in 2006 when Jones and James were joined by Leo !E-zee-Kill' Williams (Big Audio Dynamite, Dreadzone) on bass guitar and Dominic Greensmith (Reef) on drums. Their debut album is 'The Last Post.' Formed in 1998, Matt Pond PA's music was featured on the FOX series 'The O.C.' The lineup changed just after the release of the band's debut, 'Deer Apartments.' Singer/songwriter Matt Pond is joined by Dan Crowell, Steve Jewett, Matthew Daniel Siskin and Chris Hansen.
